How to Apply

Entering the Business Boost Competition is very easy and straight forward. The 2012 Awards are now finished but please follow this link to apply on-line for 2013.

 

 

Here are our Five Short Steps to Becoming a Winner!

1. Check that your business is eligible to apply

Entry to the Business Boost Competition is limited to businesses located in the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme with less than 250 employees. Please consult Competition Rules before you apply.

2. Choose your category

Select the Award Category most applicable to your business. You may apply for more than one category.

3. Fill in your application form

You can access and complete your application form online saving the information as you go along. You can continue working on your form until the entry deadline: TBC in 2013. You will be notified within a couple of weeks whether your application was successful to go on to the second stage.

4. Submit your Business Plan

Applicants who go on to the second stage are required to submit a sound business plan. Free training, if requested, is provided by Business Initiative in different aspects of the business. This can help you put an effective business plan together. A Business Plan template is available on request. Business plan submission deadline TBC.

5. Find out if you made it to the finals

Successful finalists will be notified and invited to attend the Awards Ceremony when the winners are announced. The celebratory event will be held in September or October 2013.
